This beautiful soapstone backsplash

Looking at this inventive backsplash you may never guess that it’s asymmetry is working double time. Not only does it make an elegant statement, but it also aligns the off centeredness of the stove and hood. A structural component in the wall made it impossible to fully align the stove with the hood but the solution has become the focal point of the kitchen!

These playful niches

Adding these unique display areas along the stairs leading to the finished basement provided visual interest and makes the space feel larger.

This bathroom shelf

This bathroom’s vanity top takes a stroll and extends along the window to form a lovely granite shelf which then continues into the shower forming the perfect shampoo ledge. Because it’s unexpected and, why not!

Bathbook

This little nook

This attic turned master-suite had a tiny spot just perfect to turn into a little ready nook. Painted various shades of green to mimic the feeling of laying in the grass, it’s often the first place kids run to when they enter the space. What would typically be left unfinished and deemed unusable space, has instead become a charming and magical hangout spot.
