Calhoun Condo

This incredible renovation took a 1970’s condo that was closed off, full of skinny hallways, and in desperate need of updating, and turned it into an open, spacious, contemporary modern living home. We opened up the home so that the entire living room, kitchen and home office were afforded views of the lake. With an emphasis on sustainability, reclaimed materials were used through out the home. The floors are a reclaimed oak the were fumed and sealed with zero VOC zero Carcinogen Rubio Monocoat. The original floors were un-installed for re-use in other projects.

The kitchen tile was a custom design, lovingly and locally made by  Bon Ton Tile, and is matched with PaperStone counters. There are flourishes and elements of organic movement throughout the home that reflect the homeowner’s personalities and love of the world. LED lights, Ultra-Low VOC finishes, Water Sense fixtures, Local custom cabinets, and Energy Star appliances round out some of the many ways in which this home is healthier, sustainable, and aesthetically improved.
