Uptown Classic

This beautiful home in the East Bde MkaSka neighborhood was the victim of a prior remodel that over emphasized storage. Cabinets were everywhere; around the windows and dividing the fridge from the work space. Less is more, and our first step was to remove some of the cabinetry around the windows and bring back the historically accurate millwork. Next we shifted the fridge down so there was ample space next to the range and the kitchen could feel unified. A custom two-tone island that serves double duty as both work space and eat in space complete this spacious and light filled kitchen.
